What to bring and what is there

There are towels, dish clothes, tea towels and cleaning cloths you may use. We kindly ask you wash these prior to leaving.

 

You will need to bring your own bed linens. You may use the pillows, however you need to bring your own pillow cases. 

 

Please bring your own laundry detergent and toilet paper. Please bring X-large garbage bags for the garbage can outside. This is to keep the garbage can clean as well as make it easier for you to bring your garbage home with you. 

 

Dish soap,  dish brush, hand soap,  dishwasher pods, garbage bags (for the kitchen, bathroom and bunkies) and cleaning supplies are available for you to use. 

 

Firewood is available to enjoy your evening campfires. There are also  roasting sticks.

 

During your stay

Do not leave garbage outside at night. The raccoons will be happy, but you will not be when you see the mess in the morning.

 

Before leaving

It is your responsibly to clean the cottage and bunkies. This includes cleaning bathroom, wiping down all surfaces, cleaning any windows with dirty fingerprints, vacuuming and mopping.  There are cleaning supplies available. 

 

Please make sure you put new bags in all garbage cans.

 

Please clean up beach area by putting all beach toys in beach bin and putting both kayaks and paddle boat back on shore by beach. 

 

Check fridge/freezer and cupboards for any food you may have brought.

 

If used firewood, please restock the firewood holder that is by campfire, with wood from woodpile behind cottage. This is to ensure the next renters are ready to enjoy their campfire. 

 

You are responsible to take and dispose your own garbage.
